GK Group Holds Iftar with All Employees

GK Group held Iftar with all employees from both Head Office and Site (21/3). The Iftar event was held at the Synergy Auditorium and was also attended online by GK Group personnel located at the Site.

The event began with remarks from Mr. Samuel Hari Santoso as Managing Director of Operation GK Group. In his speech, the man who is familiarly called “Pak Sam”, conveyed the spirit and purpose of the Iftar event. “Today, we will break our fast together and later we will listen to how GK Group is serious in saving energy to reduce emissions.” Mr. Sam explained.

Also present at the event were GK Group CEO Mr. Anthony Pradiptya, Mr. Wesley as CEO of GK Technology, and Mr. Edwin Prasetya Gan as CEO of GK Strategic Industries who conveyed the spirit of “Professional” in March. In his presentation, Mr. Edwin shared his experience about professionalism in his career. He shared how professionalism is very important and helps the team stay focused, effective, and grow. He emphasized, “Professionalism is not just about what we do, but how we do it with integrity, responsibility and full commitment.” Through this discussion, it is hoped that every GK employee can better understand and apply the value of Professional in their work, so that they can make the best contribution to the company and society.

In closing, all GK personnel enjoyed the Iftar meal that had been prepared by the Committee. A warm atmosphere was felt between GK people, a family that is so close in the momentum to strengthen the relationship of the big family of GK Group.

As conveyed by Mr. Samuel that this fast-breaking event is not about the event or the food, but about the moment of togetherness. The momentum of the month of Ramadan is expected that every GK employee can continue to contribute and develop for the better progress of the company in the future.
