PT KAMU Distributes Qur’an Donations to TPA Al-Barokah as a Form of CSR Commitment in the Mining Ring Area

Tanah Bumbu, February 2025 — As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment, PT KAMU distributed Qur’ans to the Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA) AL-Barokah, located in Mekar Jaya Village, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency.
This initiative was carried out as a demonstration of the company’s concern for enhancing religious educational facilities, particularly in the mining ring area. The assistance was provided in response to the limited Qur’an resources available at TPA AL-Barokah, which remains one of the main centers for religious learning for children around the mining area.
The donation was handed over directly by PT KAMU’s Area Manager, Mr. Heriyanto, to Mr. Ustad Tohari, Chair of TPA AL-Barokah. The handover took place in a warm atmosphere, with gratitude expressed by both the staff and the TPA students.
“We are very grateful for PT KAMU’s attention and support for religious education in our village. This assistance is extremely valuable in supporting the students’ Qur’an learning process,” said Mr. Ustad Tohari.
PT KAMU emphasized that this activity represents a tangible commitment by the company to contribute to community development, not only economically but also socially and spiritually. The company hopes that this support will inspire children to learn more enthusiastically and strengthen religious values within the community.
Looking ahead, PT KAMU will continue to implement sustainable CSR programs targeting various sectors, including education, health, and community empowerment in its operational areas.
