Strengthening Harmony, PT KAMU Distributes Infrastructure Assistance for Churches

Tanah Bumbu, Januari 2025 — As part of its social commitment to the communities around its operational areas, PT KAMU through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Infrastructure program distributed assistance to repair the canopy and front porch of the Catholic Church of Maria Bunda Karmel Parish located in Karang Indah Village, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency.

This assistance was provided on the basis of an official request from the church management submitted by Mr. Yohanes as the Chairman of the Church Management to the External Stakeholder Team (EST) through Mr. Ruben. After the proposal was submitted and through the submission process to the EST Head Office, the request was approved by the management of PT KAMU as a form of support for worship facilities and religious activities of the surrounding community.

The donation was handed over directly by Mr. Ruben to Mr. Yohanes representing the church. The assistance focused on physical improvements to the front of the church, including the canopy and veranda, to increase the comfort and safety of the congregation in worship.

“We are very grateful for this assistance. Our church has been in need of repair for quite some time, and with the support of PT KAMU, now the people can worship more comfortably,” said Mr. Yohanes.
